I have been a member of this organization for a while, looking at my CPU time about 125 days, and it is a very good program. The program consists of a very small file that runs minimized on your computer and takes almost no system resources. Since it is so small and does not lag you down, the little program can run while you do whatever you want on your computer.

The long term goal of this program is to find a cure for cancer by checking certain protein molecuoles that may help. You can read up on the technical stuff at the site.

To get to my point, it would be nice if some of you could join and donate some CPU time to the project.

Sounds like a good cause. Unfortunately I already donate some of my CPU to SETIathome.

I'm doing the climate modelling thing at the moment. Haven't decided what to do next. I'm currently at about 90% of the way through the third and final phase (and it's only taken about 4 months!!!)

I do SETI as well. In the last 5 years I've only had one possible signal which of course didn't pan out or I'm sure we'd have all heard about it lol. But they are all good causes.

Yes, but SETI doesn't do anything that will be productive, even if you do find a transmission it could be anything. In this program, if you find the right molecuole you have a cure for cancer... big difference.
