September's prize puzzle ('Wrong') is now open for solving.
The August prize crossword is closed and the winner in the process of being notified. It looks like this puzzle was a bit trickier than some of the previous months, so well done to all who entered. While I'm here, could I just recommend (even to those who solved the puzzle) that you take a look at the solution and (in particular) the explanation, as you may be in for an interesting surprise?

The October prize crossword is now open, with this month's puzzle celebrating the 50th birthday of one Simon Cowell. Enjoy!
The September prize puzzle is now closed, the winner being notified, and the solution displayed. Apologies as I overlooked putting the clue explanations in place, which I shall do over the next couple of days.

The solution to cryptic puzzle #38 is published along with a new themed cryptic puzzle (#8). Enjoy!
It seems as though this month's prize puzzle has proved particularly tough (only a small handful of correct entries received) so if you are able to crack there is a higher than normal chance of winning.

The November prize puzzle is now ready for you to solve. I think this should prove an entertaining challenge to you all.
I am in the process of notifying the October winner, and of course the solution and explanation to that puzzle is available for you to check / see where you went wrong.
I won't publish a normal crossword this week so that there are no distractions to the prize puzzle.

I know there has been a bit of a break recently in puzzle publishing, but that has been due to a large amount of time spent on making improvements to the site, which we hope to release very soon. I'm confident you won't be disappointed!
Meanwhile, there is a new cryptic puzzle available (#40) as well as the solution to cryptic #39. A few days left for those who haven't already to enter the November competition.
