We've had a few problems tonight and the site was down for a little while. Sad

We apologise if it inconvenienced you - but rest assured that we are in contact with the site host to try and find out what the issue was, and also what steps they are taking to avoid a repeat occurrence.

If the host site was near London then it was probably the same power cut I had. The timing is about right...

Think it's down on the south coast, although Xyphic will no doubt confirm that.

Sorry to hear you had a power cut, though. Hope your freezer contents were insured. But isn't it a pain resetting all the clocks and timers scattered around the house...?! Everything from alarm clock to microwave to central heating to cooker to videos (plus my watch)... it take me half an hour to reset everything when the clocks go either forward or back Sad

And in the meantime you wake up an hour late (or early), record the wrong programmes on the video, wake up to a cold house because the central heating hasn't come on... hmmm.

The only thing I don't change is the burglar alarm - I lost the instruction book and don't know how to.... Embarassed

It was a pain. It's the sixth one we've had this year.
The worst one a couple of months back was over six hours!

It's so BORING!
No telly, no music, no news (which makes you feel quite isolated - is it just caused by poor maintenance, or have we been attacked by terrorists?). You try and cheer yourself up with a cup of tea and a book. AAAARGH - No kettle! At least yesterday it was light enough to read and nice and warm.

I didn't bother resetting the clocks last night, not trusting the power to stay on for long. What a nice surprise when after 20 mins or so my video reset itself! Well done video Thumbs up
