dictionary.com just tried to download some very nasty dialup software onto my PC.
Can anyone recommend an online thesaurus/dictionary that doesn't resort to such scummy tactics? |

OneLook is good - you can do wildcard searching as well as simple dictionary lookups. In most cases it gives you a quick definition of the word, and links to all the online dictionaries in which the word is defined. _________________ Puzzletome - Confusion now hath made his masterpiece! |
