Put in the name of an actor and it will link them to Kevin Bacon in as few steps as possible. The best that I've seen so far is "Albert Einstein" with 5 links. Apparently there are people with up to 8 links...
If you find a better one, post it here! |

Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Orson Welles, Judy Garland, Laurence Olivier, Horst Buchholz, Ronald Reagan, George Formby and even Luciano Pavarotti all have Bacon numbers of 2 - in fact it's surprisingly hard to find anyone who is 3, far less any higher numbers. Hmmm...

I win...
"The Oracle says: Holly Beck has a Kevin Bacon number of infinity.
Holly Beck cannot be linked to Kevin Bacon using only feature films.
About 12% of all actors cannot be linked to the rest of the movie universe, either because they have appeared only in TV features or straight-to-video releases that the Oracle doesn't count, or because they have not appeared in any features with actors from the Hollywood mainstream." |

Hah... those don't count.
Has to have a non-zero, finite Bacon Number. |

This is really frustrating - even a really obscure person like Eleanor Boardman (who was in the silent movie The Crowd in 1928) only has a Bacon number of 3. Looking at the "hall of fame" stats, though, there are loads of people who found all the sevens and eights - and I haven't even found *one* of the 89,493 people yet who have a count of 4...!

The Oracle says: Benito Mussolini has a Bacon number of 3.
Benito Mussolini was in Eternal City, The (1923) with Joan (I) Bennett
Joan (I) Bennett was in Dark Shadows 30th Anniversary Tribute (1996) with Dennis Patrick
Dennis Patrick was in Air Up There, The (1994) with Kevin Bacon |

Just as a completely interesting (?) sidenote, I have a Bacon number of 2. (Though I'm not in the movies, so don't try my name.)
I work with a gentleman named John Gillespie who does stunts.
John Gillespie did the stunts in Tremors. (Specifically, he drove the bulldozer into the hole.)
So, anyone who knows me well enough can say they have a Bacon number of 3. _________________ A "J" quickly followed by illegible lines and squiggles |
