Am afraid that Si is very busy
Now DAFT is live you've all got quizzy
Good job it is that I am here
I can put paid to your fear
Even though your question was
Just left - it isn't now because
Look close and it must clearly be:
A Nice Girl Is 'Ere Just Look At (... me)

Such a smart coyote you are
To uncover who I am by far
Reading your ode I was impressed
Each line was spelled as the request
Typed my name not once but twice
Happy I was as that was so nice
And to return the kind thought of a friend
My own to you as one you can depend

Do you not know we begin now
Under the stress of wearing a crown
Many a knight has fought and died
May your fate not be so tried
I think that now the time is near
Everyone should stand back for fear
Si has taken the rest of my beer!

Everyone always talks about buying a green edible lime
Although I have doubts that we'll reach the greengrocers on time
Tonight is the day that he shuts slightly early at three
And that might be the thing that denies us the fruit of the tree
By teatime tonight I had hoped to create a nice pie
As whipped cream and biscuits and lime juice alone can supply
Gastronomic delights now reserved for our elders and betters
Eek! I've just realised your name's an odd number of letters
Look let's just stop this, it's all getting silly

’Tis ’cos it is silly we’re having such fun
How can we stop now it’s begun
Everyone here is talking in verse
And this process we can not reverse
Nothing can free us from this spell
DAFT has us all bewitched so well
You may wish to be free from rhyme
Granted, rhyming takes up more time
Rather than fight it, just go with the flow
After all, resistance is futile you know
Now, there is a way to regain normal speech
To end the spell, the end of DAFT you must reach

Completing DAFT does not bring this spell to a close,
As I am proving by this piece of prose.
Rats! It's not prose but verse all the time,
Oh well - I had to choose something to rhyme.
Let's carry on having fun with this game,
And spell out by first letters the last poster's name.
Nine letters, though, is a number which scares,
Never can it be done with rhymes in pairs.
Even so, I think I did well and saved face
- with this cunning use of hyphen and space!

Rhyming has long been my game -
Onward with more of the same!
But whoever is next,
Is lacking in text -
Needing two lines for my name Razz

So you have come to join the fun
Posting the rhyme for each one
And we go along our merry way
Reading what they have to say
Known to all as I portray
PuzzleFiles is where he plays
Long days with very little sleep
Until he has tended all his sheep
Gone make another contest
So they say he never rests

Needed to add one more line Hey Sparky you need another letter in your name anyway Razz

A Game to verse with your name
AgaIn I curse for missing the same
And Eventually I now have the time
Also Jumping at chance to rhyme
As welL I might also chart
An extrA restriction at the start!
