New to the site?
Suggested starting contests.

Say What You See (SWYS)
Say What Again is all SWYS except for a middle and end puzzle.
Say What is mostly SWYS with half a dozen riddle type puzzles.
Say What Finally is a third selection of SWYS puzzles.
Say What: Resurrection is a slightly tougher set of SWYS puzzles.
Around The World In 80 Puzzles is a lot of SWYS with some other interesting riddles thrown in.

Interactive
Halloween series is a set of short spooky contests with animated gifs or Shockwave (Flash) puzzles... and the kids enjoy them too  
Valentine series is very similar in format to Halloween but much sweeter
Festive Fun is our Christmas series and allows you a lot of puzzles to choose from in a non-sequential format (until the end)
Summertime Special is the same for summer

Themed Puzzles
Absolutely Scrabulous is based on a Scrabble theme    
Movie Premiere is a set of not too difficult puzzles based on movies
Paul Trigger Investigates are story based contests putting you in the shoes of our resident Private Eye
Trifle Trivial is a short series based on Trivial Pursuit

and many more...

Crosswords
The Crypt and Deeper Into The Crypt require completion of cryptic crosswords with some puzzling thrown into the mix
And if you really like crosswords then go here to Stretham's crossword section of the site

New to puzzling?
Assistance
A must see for anybody new to puzzles is the Puzzle Primer section where you will find guidance on all sorts of puzzling methods with a lot of examples to try your skills on. There are also some useful tips on manipulatiing images in Paint Primer.
We also have a short section, Paint Primer, which gives a brief rundown on how to use Microsoft to assist in solving some of our graphic and text based puzzles.
