There will be a new contest, created by ASA, released on Sunday 10th October at 10:10pm GMT. This contest was formed from ASA's wrong ideas for other puzzles on this site. So be prepared to see some familiar sights, but don't expect them to work the same.

I think Stretham needs some before we let him post in a morning!
I'll allow him to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he meant Sunday 10th October. _________________ Puzzletome - Confusion now hath made his masterpiece! |

Not yet. In fact it was something I forgot about, and it means that the contest will launch at 23:10pm BST for everyone in the UK and someone from PT admin will need to be up to oversee things. However, GMT is the international reference, so for global timing we need to specify that. Here is what it will mean to some other places around the world (assuming there are no Daylight Saving changes between now and then):
Sydney - 8:10am (Monday)
Perth - 6:10am (Monday)
Washington - 6:10pm (Sunday)
Los Angeles - 4:10pm (Sunday)
Amsterdam - 12:10am (Monday morning - sorry )
BTW, what other places (time zones) around the world do people live in? We can always produce a list of local times for launches if that would be useful.

MiscellASAneous should now be live. (Please complain here if you can't see it and/or the associated forum.)
