Would it be possible (or even desirable?) to, in a forum topic for a particular puzzle, have a link to the puzzle in question?
When someone asks for help on a puzzle you've done, you often need to go and have another look at it to jog your memory, and this is frequently a "several click" journey...
just a thought |

Most desirable in my view, although there may be issues providing linking to a puzzle, in terms of how to keep people out if they haven't actually got to that level yet - the forum is free roaming irrespective of progress through a contest.
While we're doing wish lists though, I'd love on the content page to be able to have a split between contests completed and contests still in progress. Deferring them is an option, but this also removes access to the forum, and it's nice to be able to give a nudge here or there to repay the multitude I've had in my time here.
Not a gripe though, Mods and puzzlemakers, just my ha'penny worth.

And we welcome all your thoughts and suggestions. Please keep them coming!
The puzzle link is something that we've considered doing in the past, but at this point it would be a manual process and thus extremely time-consuming to do. There'd be no issue with people 'roaming' because the site won't allow you to view a puzzle you've not reached yet.
As for the content divisions, I've already started work on a much nicer content page that will be more flexible in how the contests are displayed. It's going to be done as part of a bigger site upgrade so don't expect it for a while yet, but certainly watch this space! _________________ Puzzletome - Confusion now hath made his masterpiece! |

I just saw something today, although I started many weeks ago. On the contest 1 , round 1, when you are on the current puzzle page, there is no link to the home page...But there is a link on Supergroveran Trigger...Don't think it's my browser (Safari)... _________________ Don't take yourself too seriously...in any case, you won't get out of here alive. |

Hmmm, you're right - never noticed thsat before. (Probably because I never have any need to go to the homepage except when I first call up the site.) But there's always the 'home' link on the menu |
